Spiritual Gifts

The gifts of the Spirit, referred to also as spiritual gifts, are identified in the Holy Scriptures (See Rom 12:6-8; 1 Corin 12:4-10; 1 Corin 12:28).

The gifts of the Spirit are to be desired by God’s people and are to be exercised and practiced according to the Holy Scriptures (1 Corin 14:1; Rom 12:9-13; 1 Corin 13:1-3).

Spiritual gifts are given according to God’s sovereign distribution for the purpose of edifying the church body, redeeming the lost, and advancing the Gospel (1 Corin 12:11; 1 Corin 14:12, 26; 2 Corin 3:17-18).
