Do Good. It’s Good for You.
Galatians 6:9
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
This is one of those scriptures that pops into my head whenever the “me” in my head gets in the way of what I know to be the correct and right thing to do. It’s kind of like the cartoons where there is a small little angel and a small little devil sitting on opposite shoulders of the character giving their advice on how to proceed in a situation. The little devil will be encouraging a path of wrong doing whereas the angel encourages a path of goodness and well doing. Eventually one wins out over the other and the cartoon character reacts, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way.
