This week at LS the text is out of Luke 8. What’s amazing about this passage of Scripture is Jesus was asked to perform a miracle by way of healing a young girl. As Jesus was en route to the girl it was discovered the girl had died. When they shared the news with Jesus He said, “Don’t be afraid. Trust Me she will be all right.” To this the response was laughter. I can just see the faces of the people and hear the words “You fool! What are you stupid? She’s dead!” I mean that’s how the world is right? The world sees things so differently than God. The world sees despair and no hope and Jesus is like… “I so have this handled, and because I make you wait, My demonstration of the supernatural will even be greater!” Think about it, what’s greater – healing a sick person or raising the dead? Remember friend, Jesus can do anything. However, when He chooses to demonstrate the supernatural is completely up to Him. Get ready and stay ready as He may do something you never thought possible.
