“From the rising of the sun to its going down, the Lord’s name is to be praised. The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on high?” Psalm 113:3-5
Go somewhere far. I mean real far. Get in your car and travel to a distant land. Well, not that far. But far enough to where the city lights disappear. Park the car on the side of the road, get out and look up at the stars, and what will you see? You will see the majesty and wonders of God. And somewhere up there in the spiritual realm, God Almighty sits upon His throne, above the earth, above all the nations, and above the heavens. The Psalmist proclaims, “Who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on high?”. There is no other who can do the things that our God can do. The prophet Isaiah declares in chapter 44, verse 6, “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and His Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.’”
God has created the moon, the stars, planets, mountains and yes, even ugly looking bugs. Life may be too busy to include all the things that you want to do. Just make sure that you take time out and gaze upon the glory in the highest. Remember, “The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on high?”.
