Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The veil was torn. The cross displays it. The tomb remains empty. From the cross, Jesus proclaimed “It is finished”. Church, nothing can separate us from the love of God. When Jesus died, He paid the price for our sins. He took our punishment. He received our just judgment.
Paul expresses that everything that we see, things that we have seen, things that we’re going to see, powers that be, whether it’s good or bad, and if it has been created, it still doesn’t have the power to separate us from the love of God. Church, we need to realize that even though our sins once separated us from God, Jesus paid the penalty so that they would not keep us away from Him.
In Romans 8:37, Paul says “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” What is higher than a conqueror? Glory, honor, and something praiseworthy… It is Jesus.
Remain in the scriptures and remind yourself, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). He doesn’t make us work for salvation; it is by His grace that He saved us and by grace that He allows NOTHING to keep us from Him. Praise Him all the days of your life.
Be blessed
