Rushing Into the Presence of Starbucks

This morning I looked out my window and saw the fog, felt the chill of the morning air and immediately found myself rushing out the door to grab a cup of Joe from Starbucks. In pursuit of coffee I realized that I dropped everything, specifically, morning devo & prayer. Of course to satisfy my conscience I offered up a few rituals in the car however I knew I dropped everything to satisfy my needs. I am curious as to why I do the things I do. My goal this morning was not to put Jesus 2nd however that’s exactly what I did. Maybe your a lot like me. My prayer this morning is that God would remove the things in my life that get in the way of my relationship with Him. That I would be sensitive to the things that grieve our Lord. When we come to God and simply say “I’m Sorry!” He forgives us, He restores us. Friends, Jesus is for you and if you believe that this morning who really cares who’s against you.
